When they’re not digging up my backyard, I see my dogs, Zeke and Lenny, as my angels who deserve the best! I wanted to make special treats for them that were healthy and worthy of being served to my furry little men. Green Dog uses only the finest organic and all-natural, human-grade ingredients. My treats DO NOT contain any animal by products or harmful ingredients. I chose specific ingredients for Zeke’s allergy problems and then added medicinal herbs to treat some other common doggy issues—fleas and digestive problems to name a few. I studied for months to find out which herbs had the most holistic benefits and decided to choose four of my favorite herbs:

Garlic: a natural flea repellant as well as an immune builder

Kelp: a type of seaweed that is rich in trace minerals which protects against heart and kidney disease, it also helps cleanse the digestive tract, and is a nourishing herbal tonic for all systems of the body.

Celery Seed: helps prevent arthritis and eases digestion

Rosemary: increases circulation, and helps with digestion

I look forward to incorporating more medicinal herbs into my next line of dog treats.
